SellingHive (SH) is a new kind of social networking company that provides businesses with ground-breaking tools for sourcing leads and new business. SH uses social media to help businesses identify sales professionals and individuals with existing personal relationships with the decision makers that the business wants to meet. SH lets them negotiate the value of the prospect and compensate sales people/individuals for creating warm leads, scheduling kept appointments and/or closing sales. SH charges $50.00/mo. for businesses and $25.00/mo. for sales people/individuals who participate in the social network. In addition, SH participates in the success of each transaction by taking a small percentage of the commission paid using the SH system.

SH provides an attractive sales-growth option for small and medium sized businesses from $1M to $100M in revenue per year. The SH platform is particularly appealing to manufacturing, professional services and distribution companies who sell to other businesses. In addition to having no direct competitors, SH primarily competes with adding additional sales employees, which is considerably more expensive than SH's membership fee. Businesses see value in acquiring new customers with little upfront cost and moving to a more variable cost of sales while SH provides individuals with a mechanism to monetize their contact list.

SH's experienced management team has worked extensively with internet technology and has 10+ years in designing, building and running companies. The company has raised $250K to date and is seeking an additional $300K in funding to support domestic growth.
