Developed in February of 2009 by Enertia Beverage LLC (Enertia), Vital Energy® is a non-carbonated vitamin enhanced energy water that combines B Vitamins and electrolytes with a boost of caffeine equivalent to popular carbonated energy drinks (Red Bull®, Monster®). Currently sold in Wegmans, several college campuses, and 300+ accounts in Western NY, Vital Energy® fills a void between today's carbonated energy drinks and vitamin enhanced waters.

Mintel and Goldman Sachs predict the energy drink portion of the market will hit $12 billion by 2011, with 18-35 year olds comprising a $7.8 billion (65%) market share. Within this demographic, Vital Energy® is targeted to active, health-conscious consumers. As such, college campuses are a major focus for Enertia.

Vital Energy® is sold at four major universities as well as stores strategically located around three others. Enertia's guerrilla marketing has demonstrated success resulting in features on MTV, VH1, TruTV, and the front page of YouTube. Notably, sales at SUNY Geneseo now average 30 cases per week with continued growth.

Enertia has an advisement team of seasoned beverage industry executives and marketing professionals. The company has raised over $150k to date and is seeking $500k for the purposes of increased production, distribution, slotting fees, sugar-free formulation, and marketing and operating expenses associated with expansion into new chain accounts and territories. Our focus for 2012 is to expand geographically. Enertia plans to expand distribution into Ithaca, Syracuse, Binghamton, as well as PA and OH.
