Bestest is an addictive free mobile app available on iOS and Android that lets users poll the public, and vote, in real time. Polls can be used to crowdsource opinions from the general public, followers or a specific group, can be used to make group decisions, and can obtain live audience voting from on-site attendees or fans at home.
Since Bestest launched on September 1st users have cast more than 1.3 million votes in the Bestest app (every twelve hours we're logging as many votes as we logged in an entire month just 120 days back) and created over 26,000 user-generated polls. Bestest has added over 16,000 users (three-quarters of them in just the last 60 days) and was identified by Google as one of 20 apps with the greatest growth potential in 2019.
The founders of Bestest, Lalit Goel and Kelly Helmuth, met at the UB Technology Incubator in the early 2000s and reconnected three years ago. Mr. Goel is a serial entrepreneur whose most recent venture employs 200 people and generates $40 million/year in revenue; Ms. Helmuth launched her first company after graduating from Georgetown and brings 20 years of digital media and startup experience to Bestest.
