 With today's growing population, it is more important than ever for the food supply chain to maintain affordability and efficiency in their processes and deliveries. In fresh produce and food processing, this has become increasingly difficult to accomplish at the scale of market demand with the gap in today's labor workforce. These companies need a way to augment their existing human resources.

Packhouse Technology Solutions is a company dedicated to the safe handling of difficult to convey perishable materials such as produce and processed foods. Our solutions are made up of physical automation designed for collaborative operations alongside or in place of existing staff. Our product is managed through an intuitive software interface that allows food logistic centers and processing houses to scale resources for material handling and inspection tasks with ease. Future products will include fleet management for control of multiple robotics systems throughout the plant.

We recently completed the I-corps program held cooperatively by UB and Cornell in which we went through a proper customer discovery process. We are currently testing and refining our prototype design with innovators and early adopter companies in preparation for production systems. We are also part of the LaunchNY program. Packhouse Technology Solutions is currently looking at raising a first round of funding to accelerate development by adding additional technology and team members for application support.
