MIGHTY MEATS is building the next generation of functional food in Western New York. We produce nutrient-dense ground beef blended with beef heart, liver, and kidney, pre-seasoned at the grind stage to make organ nutrition accessible without the yucky taste.
Our products make it easy to incorporate iron, B-12, and essential micronutrients into meals and consumers already eat and the ground beef they already buy. We primarily serve women navigating postpartum recovery, perimenopause, and nutrient deficiencies who want a food-first alternative to traditional supplementation.
Our three current SKUs — Classic, Chorizo, and Sweet Italian — build on existing ground beef purchasing habits to address everyday nutrient gaps. Our pipeline includes breakfast sausage, poultry blends, meatballs, and patties.
MIGHTY MEATS is gaining traction through a differentiated go-to-market strategy connecting postpartum care networks, doulas, and healthcare practitioners with local retail and direct-to-consumer sales. Across seven active wholesale accounts, we have achieved 127% year-over-year revenue growth, a 100% wholesale reorder rate, and a 51% DTC repeat purchase rate. Retail partners include Farmers & Artisans, Farm Shop, Organic Produce Direct, and Massachusetts Avenue Project (MAP). We are in talks with the Lexington Co-Op market and in contract with Fresh Fix to launch this Winter.
The company is led by Dom Crockett, who built the business from formulation through retail distribution; Gabriel Montone, bringing food distribution, financial management, and local sourcing experience; and Tim Ruof, a systems and service designer with nearly a decade of operational infrastructure experience.
MIGHTY MEATS has quantified demand that exceeds current fulfillment capacity by nearly 5×, with working capital identified as the primary constraint. The company has secured a $100K SAFE note through the UB Cultivator program to fund working capital, strengthen production capacity, and accelerate distribution.
We are establishing Western New York as our proving ground before expanding into Tri-State markets and beyond. We are looking to connect with investors and founders experienced in food CPG and early-stage distribution, alongside birth and postpartum doulas, Food as Medicine practitioners, and physicians supporting patients with iron, B-12, and micronutrient deficiencies.
